Property:Occupation

The property occupation is used to flag the many references throughout the database to specific posts to which individuals may be appointed, paid or unpaid (e.g. Lord Chancellor, Rector, Warden); it is also used to flag more generic references to people's activities or careers (e.g. merchant, yeoman).
