Sir Justinian LEWIN 1613-73
Biographical Note
Born in London, son of William Lewin, clerk of the New River Company. BCL Pembroke College, Oxford 1632, DCL 1637. Commissary for the archdeaconry of Norfolk 1633, Master in Chancery 1641. After ejection and brief imprisonment during the Interregnum, he was restored to his offices in 1660 and knighted in 1661.
Books
More than 54 books were seized from him by the London Committee for Sequestration in 1643, and sold.
