Charles PERROTT or PERROT 1642-86

Biographical Note

Son of James Perrott of Amersham, Buckinghamshire. BA St John's College, Oxford 1661, BCL and fellow 1664, DCL 1669. He became a barrister, of Doctors' Commons 1671, and was MP for the University of Oxford 1679-86.

Books

In his will, Perrott bequeathed £100 to St John’s College, Oxford for the purchase of books. His personal library is not mentioned there; all the residue of his estate went to his brother James. Morgan suggests that some of his books also went to the College.
