Biographical Note
Of Kedlington, member of a prominent Suffolk family including Ann Barnardiston (d.1701) and Sir Samuel Barnardiston, 1st baronet (1620-1707), Sir Nathaniel Barnardiston, 4th bart (d.1712), who were variously merchants, MPs, and establishers of baronetcies.
Books
Many of the Barnardistons used engraved armorial bookplates, variously dated between 1699 and 1704.
