Comyn was an attorney, and appears in the Middle Temple register in 1681.
Books
Comyn's books were sold by retail sale in London beginning 15 June 1719, alongside those of an unnamed gentleman 'lately come from travel'. Advertisements in the Daily Courant described the sale as 'Consisting of a valuable Collection of Law Books with Reference, History, Philology, Mathematicks, Travels, Lives, Poetry, Physick &c... with several choice MSS. and a large Collection of Tracts in several Sciences bound and in Bundles'. The books were in a variety of languages, including English, Latin, Spanish, Greek, Italian, French, and Dutch.
