Sir William SMYTH ca.1550-1626

Biographical Note

Of Hill Hall, Essex.

Books

A number of books with an armorial stamp attributed to his son Sir Thomas Smyth, 1st baronet (ca.1602-68) seem more likely to have belonged originally to Sir William; a family library probably existed at Hill Hall over several generations.
