Books

Carey's entry rests on a single book in the armorials database, with the Carey arms and an inscription and monogram on the titlepage "Thomas Cary"; this man is suggested as the likely owner. His will has no mention of books, bequeathing all his household goods to his wife. Examples: CUL W.12.46.
