Physician, who specialised in treating seamen; some case notes of his survive in British Library Sloane MSS 1230, 1395.

Patrick's library was sold by retail sale in London, 12.6.1706 (joint sale, with that of "an eminent surgeon deceas'd"; no catalogue survives).
