Sir John BOWYER, 3rd bart 1677?-1701

Biographical Note

Son of Sir John Bowyer, of Knipersley, Staffordshire, 2nd baronet; he inherited the title on his father's death in 1691.

Characteristic Markings

Bowyer used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 3334); the extent and disposition of his library are not known.
