"The library of the Reverend Mr. John Blakey, deceas'd" was sold by auction in London, beginning 3 December 1715; no catalogue survives, but it was advertised as "a choice collection of many valuable and rare books in most faculties, in Greek, Latin, English, etc" in The Daily Courant. No John Blakey, or Blake, can be identified in the university lists or any of the standard biographical sources to identify the owner.
