Hugh HENSHAW 1620/1-1682

Biographical Note

Born at Siddington, Cheshire, son of Lea Henshaw. BA New Inn Hall, Oxford 1641. Curate of Ellenbrook, Lanashire in 1646; of Sankey 1649, of St Helens 1655, of Bosley 1655. Ejected from the curacy of Prestbury, Cheshire in 1662. Licensed to preach in Knutsford, 1672. Inherited the family estate on the death of his elder brother in 1674.
