Roger GRANT -
Biographical Note
Grant was a self-proclaimed oculist, whose questionable abilities and methods made him the subject of a pamphlet by Timothy Childe, which exposed his deceptions. Despite this, Grant became oculist to both the Queen and King from 1710 and 1715 respectively.
Books
Grant's books were sold by retail sale alongside those of Thomas Southerne in London from 6 May 1724.
