His library was auctioned in London, beginning 24 March 1684, as a joint sale with the books of the physicians Christopher Bathurst (d.ca.1684) and George Tonstall (1617/18-ca.1684). The sale catalogue contains 2099 lots, divided between Latin theology (389 lots), Latin medicine (565), ‘Libri philologici’ (Latin, all other subjects, 562), English divinity (312), English all other subjects (175), and ‘Libri omissi’ (96). It is not possible to determine which books came from which source.
