Walter NEEDHAM 1632-91
Biographical Note
Son of Gervase Needham (d.1649), vicar of Bishops Castle, Shropshire. Matriculated at Trinity College, Cambridge in 1650; graduated BA 1654 and made a fellow of Queen's College in 1655. Admitted an honorary fellow of the College of Physicians in 1664 and fellow in 1687. Elected a fellow of the Royal Society in 1667 and physician to the Charterhouse in 1672.
