Biographical Note
Son of Thomas Mynshull or Minshull and — (Hutchins) of Manchester, Lancashire. Matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford 1674. Admitted to the Inner Temple 1680; called to the bar 1685. Inherited Chorlton Hall from his older brother Thomas.
Books
He used engraved armorial bookplates (‘Ri. Mynshull, of the Inner Temple, Esqr. 1702’): Franks 221468, *351 (another impression), *422 (another impression).
The content of his libray is not established. In his will he left his wife ‘such English Books […] as She pleases’.
