Andrew LORTIE or L'ORTIE d.ca.1702?
Biographical Note
Minister of the Reformed Church at La Rochelle, and Professor of Divinity at the University of Saumur. Came to England as a Huguenot refugee. DD University of Cambridge, 1683. Rector of Paglesham, Essex 1683, and chaplain to the King. French protestant minister in the Savoy, London.
Books
Lortie's library was sold in London by retail sale, 6.3.1702; no catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in several newspapers.
