Robert YARD or YARDE d.1728
Biographical Note
Son of Robert Yard, government clerk and editor of the London Gazette. His early education and career are not known, but when his books were sold he was described as a Master in the Court of Chancery; he belonged to the Inner Temple.
Books
Yard's library was sold by retail sale, beginning 8 May 1729, along with that of George Thorpe. His brief will has no mention of books; he left all his estate and goods to his wife [[family::Elizabeth Yard|Elizabeth].
