Biographical Note

There is a Treasury reference in 1705 to "the petition of Capt. John Davison, Robert Rolt and James Bengough for a lease of derelict lands lying in several places between Wells and Walton in Norfolk and between Barton and St. Mary's in Lincolnshire. Ibid., p. 166." in the Treasury 'Warrant Book: June 1705, 1-10'.
