Biographical Note
An untraced individual described as being ‘of the East India House’ in the advertisement for the auction of his library in London, beginning 9 November 1715; no catalogue survives.
Books
It was ‘a choice collection of many valuable and rare books in divinity, history, physick, novels, poetry, lives, travels, romances, &c, of the best editions’.
