Biographical Note
Of London. BA Emmanuel College, Cambridge 1653, fellow 1655, MA 1656. Rector of Horton, Buckinghamshire 1661.
Books
Peade's library was auctioned in London, 20.2.1693. The sale catalogues contains 884 lots, subdivided as Latin theology (188 lots), Latin miscellaneous (304), English miscellaneous (376), and 16 volumes of tracts. Examples: a copy of Buxtorf's Hebrew Lexicon of 1646, with the inscription "Robert Peade 1648", and a subsequent owner Thomas Doubleday dated 1693, was reported in an American private collection in 2008.
