Richard DUCKWORTH 1631?-1706
Biographical Note
Probably born in Bolton, Lancashire, son of John Duckworth. BA New Inn Hall, Oxford 1651, MA 1653, fellow of Brasenose College, BD 1661; he helf several administrative posts at Brasenose before becoming principal of St Alban Hall, Oxford. He probably spent time as a schoolmaster and held several ecclesiastical livings in Oxfordshire and Somerset.
Books
Duckworth's library was auctioned in Oxford 24.3.1707, as part of a joint sale, with the books of Anthony Lybbe; no catalogue survives, but the sale was advertised in the Daily Courant.
