Robert BOYLE 1627-91
Biographical Note
Youngest son of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork; became a leading member of scientific circles in Oxford and London in the 1650s and 60s, published many scientific and philosophical works.
Books
Possessed an extensive library, which was sold after his death partly by auction (5.4.1693, a mixed sale with the books of Sylvanus Morgan) and partly by dispersal through the trade.
