Edward BROWN or BROWNE d.1711
Biographical Note
Son of Peter Brown, rector of Langley, Kent. BA Emmanuel College, Cambridge 1686, MA 1689. He succeeded his father as rector of Langley in 1692.
Books
In his will, Brown left his library, together with money raised from the sale of some of his goods, to his sister in law Elizabeth Brown, widow of his deceased brother Captain Richard Brown, "in trust for her chiuldren". The joint library of the Browns, father and son, was auctioned in London, 10.5.1714.
