Biographical Note
Son of Nicholas Sheppard of Hosham, Sussex, gentleman. BA Magdalen Hall, Oxford 1672. Rector of Hollington, Sussex.

Sheppard's library was auctioned in London, 13.3.1706 (joint sale, with one other; no catalogue survives).
