Son of Robert Wallis, Rector of Ellesborough, Buckinghamshire. B.D. (Cambridge) by Lit. Reg., 1675. Vicar of Bradwell, Buckinghamshire 1657-75, of Ellesborough 1675-86.

Wallis’s library was sold by auction in London, 2 April 1688. The sale contained 1221 lots (497 Latin, 724 English), plus 28 bundles of tracts/sermons; the content was substantially theological but also included some history, philosophy, science, medicine and classics.
Characteristic markings
F. Spanheim, Dubia evangelica at Guildford Grammar School has his inscription; lot 30 in the Theology 4to section of the sale catalogue.
