Biographical Note

Of High Wycombe; unidentified, possibly the William Bigge, b.1645/6, who matriculated at Magdalen Hall, Oxford, 1661?

His “libraries” were auctioned in London, ca.1713; there is a surviving catalogue for a continuation sale, dated 9.3.1713. The sale was a joint one, with the books of "another eminent person, deceas'd".
