Edward BYDE 1642/3-1712
Biographical Note
Of Ware Park, Hertfordshire, younger son of John Byde, sheriff of London; brother of Sir Thomas Byde (1628-1704), MP. Matriculated at Peterhouse, Cambridge 1658, entered Lincoln's Inn in the early 1660s.
Books
Numerous books survive with Byde's armorial stamp (which, unusually, incorporates his name in the outer frame), but the extent of his library is not known.
