BA Emmanuel College, Cambridge 1616, MA 1619; died, and buried, in Cambridge.

Clugh's probate inventory includes a list of 47 titles, in 61 volumes, valued at £1 19s 3d, from a total estate valued at £4 5s 11d. The books include a range of classical, theological and medical texts, with a number of grammars and dictionaries (including coverage of Greek, and Hebrew).
