Robert BOOTH d.1615
Books
Booth, who is described as "armiger" (gentleman with a coat of arms) but whose background is otherwise not known, bequeathed books to the parish of Tankersley, Yorkshire, for the use of the rector and his successors. 37 volumes (now in Sheffield University Library) remain today, all 16th-century continental imprints, covering theology, medicine and classics.
