James BULLER 1678?-1710
Biographical Note
Son of Francis Buller of Shillingham, Cornwall. Matriculated at New College, Oxford 1695, but did not graduate; entered the Middle Temple the same year. MP for Saltash and Cornwall between 1699 and 1710, where he supported Tory concerns.
Characteristic Markings
Buller used an engraved armorial bookplate (Franks 4293/*184); the extent and disposition of his library is not known.
