John MACHIN 1624-64
Biographical Note
Born at Seabridge, Staffordshire, son of John Machin. BA Jesus College, Cambridge 1649, MA 1653. Inheriting his father's Seabridge estate in 1653, he established a lecture circuit in Staffordshire. Minister at Astbury, Cheshire, in the 1650s, curate of Whitley 1661 (ejected 1662).
