Biographical Note
Born at Horsham, son pf Richard Middleton. BA Christ's College, Cambridge 1653. Vicar of Cuckfield, Sussex 1690, prebendary of Ely 1699.
Books
Middleton bequeathed his library of ca.700 books to the son of his brother-in-law Symon Patrick, on condition that he become a clergyman not a lawyer; in fact the books were given to the SPCK.
