Robert STREATER or STREETER d.1711
Biographical Note
Son of Robert Streater of London, painter and engraver. He followed his father's profession and after his death was Serjeant-painter to Charles II, James II and William III.
Books
Streater's library was auctioned in London, 29.11.1711, as part of a joint sale with the library of "another eminent person"; no copies of the sale catalogue are recorded.
