Edward RADCLIFFE or RADCLYFFE, 2nd Earl of Derwentwater 1655-1705
Biographical Note
Son of Francis Radcliffe, who was created Earl of Derwentwater in 1688, and from whom he inherited the title in 1697.
Characteristic Markings
Radcliffe used an engraved armorial bookplate dated 1702 (Franks 24441/*45); the extent and disposition of his library are now known.
