Richard LEE 1611-1684

Biographical Note

Born at Nantwich, Cheshire, son of William Lee, merchant. BA Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge 1634, fellow of Peterhouse, Cambridge 1636, MA 1637, DD 1664. Rector of St Martin Orgar, London 1643, of Hatfield, Hertfordshire 1647, Master of Royston Hospital 1650. He retained his Hatfield benefice after the Restoration by conforming to the Church of England.
