Biographical Note

Not identified, but assumed to be a professional engraver; the sale catalogue refers to his “mathematical instruments in brass and wood, his graving and etching tools”.

Books

Dunstan's library was auctioned in London, 7.8.1693 (294 lots, plus 111 lots of "prints", 65 "drawings", 14 "mathematical instruments", and a list of "graving and etching tools"; the 294 lots are subdivided by format (62 folio, 41 quarto, 160 octavo), and 31 "books of architecture and perspective prints").
