Biographical Note
Of Gray’s Inn (barrister 1632) and Westbury, Gloucestershire, one of the Six Clerks in Chancery (1632-43). Awarded the degree of DCL by Oxford University in 1643
Books
Colchester's surviving account book for the late 1630s/early 1640s (Gloucester Record Office, D36 A1) records the purchase and binding of a number of books (information from Giles Colchester).
