Biographical Note
Younger son of Francis Brace of Bedford, lawyer. Matriculated at Balliol College, Oxford 1708, but did not graduate; entered Lincoln's Inn, where he became a barrister in 1717.
Books
Brace used an engraved armorial bookplate, dated 1717, the year in which he was called to the bar (Franks 3434). the extent of his library is not known; his books will have passed to his brother John Thurloe Brace, who inherited all the residue of his real estate.
