Biographical Note
Born in Oxford; son of Thomas Goodwin (1600–1680), minister. Independent minister in London, who also ran a dissenting ministers’ academy at his estate in Pinner.
Books
Library sold at auction in London, 27.11.1710, 3.11.1712 (over 6000 volumes). His father said he lost half his library, valued at over £1000, in the Great Fire of 1666.
