Gilbert SHELDON 1598-1677
Biographical Note
Archbishop of Canterbury. Instrumental in re-establishing Lambeth Palace Library after the Restoration.
Books
Divided his books, in his will, between Lambeth Palace Library and his nephew Gilbert Dolben (though the will was later contested).
