Of Hampstead Marshall, Berkshire; eldest son of Sir Thomas Parry (d.1560). Administrator and MP for Bridport 1571, for Berkshire 1586, and for St Albans 1610. Ambassador to France 1601-1606. Married Dorothy Brooke (d.1624), a former maid of honour to Queen Elizabeth.
