John VAUGHAN 1st Viscount Lisburne 1667-1721

Biographical Note

Son of Edward Vaughan of Cardiganshire, Wales. He was created Viscount Lisburne in 1695.

Books

Grey's books were sold by retail sale in London from 13 February 1722. Advertisements in the Daily Courant and other newspapers describe the sale as 'Consisting of a large Collection of Books relating to the History, Antiquities, and Constitution of Great Britain and Ireland, of the History of most foreign Nations, and the Antiquities of several of their Principalities and Counties; of Architecture, Sculpture, Painting, Law, Divinity, Trade, Husbandry, and Classicks'.
