BA Christ's College, Cambridge 1579/80, MA 1583, fellow of Emmanuel from 1585 and proceeded BD there in 1591.
Books
Cock's probate inventory includes over 100 books, valued at £23 13s 3d (from a total estate valued at £52 1s 2d). The books are mostly in Hebrew, with some Latin, Greek and English. They are predominantly theological alongside some lexicography, grammar, literature and other subjects. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.173 (see full citation below).
