Sir George COLQHOUN 6th baronet, ca.1705-1785
Biographical Note
Son of Captain James Colqhoun (ca.1650-1722) and Elizabeth Colquhoun (b.ca.1660). He is said to have beeen a Colonel in the service of the Dutch States-General.

Used an engraved bookplate (Franks 6496): 'Colquhoun, Sr. George, Bart.'
The extent and disposition of his library is not known.
