BA Trinity College, Cambridge 1563, fellow there from 1563, MA 1566.

Books

Cryer's probate inventory includes ca.160 books, valued at £24 3s 2d (from a total estate valued at £51 1s 8d). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Greek ones, with a mixture of theology, classics, grammar, philosophy, law and other subjects. He bequeathed his Geneva Bible to his brother, and a book to each of his pupils. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.131 (see full citation below).
