William JOHNSON d.1559

Johnson's probate inventory includes nearly 100 books, valued at £3 17s 4d (from a total estate valued at just over £5). The books are mostly in Latin, with some Greek and French, with a mixture of subjects including theology, philosophy, classics, and other topics.
