Books
Bygrave's probate inventory includes ca.140 books, valued at £12 2s 2d (from a total estate valued at £32 2s 11d). The books are mostly in Latin, with a predominance of theology, with some law and other topics. He made bequests of books to some specific academic colleagues, and directed that the rest of his library should then be distributed across the fellows and scholars of Queens'. The full inventory is edited as Leedham-Green no.64 (see full citation below).
