Thomas GREENWOOD d.1547

Biographical Note

Fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge; previously educared at the University of Paris, where he graduated MA in 1543.

Books

Greenwood's probate inventory includes 119 titles, in ca.200 volumes, valued at £7 6s 11d (from a total estate valued at ca.£19). The books are include many in French, alongside Latin ones, covering theology, classics, literature and other subjects. The full inventory, which included a lute and music, is edited as Leedham-Green no.31 (see full citation below).
