Biographical Note

Son of Patrick Crawfurd, merchant of Edinburgh. Appointed resident envoy to the French court in 1722.

Books

Crawfurd's library was sold by retail sale in London from 3 May 1725. The sale was advertised in the Daily Courant and the Daily Journal.
