Thomas CRAWFURD or CRAWFORD d.1724

Biographical Note

Son of Patrick Crawfurd, merchant of Edinburgh. Appointed resident envoy to the French court in 1722.

Crawfurd's library was sold by retail sale in London from 3 May 1725.
